Jessica is a director and painter. She was born in New York City in 1989 and moved to Los Angeles with her family at the age of four. She completed her BA at Sarah Lawrence, studying abroad at the Il Bisonte Studio in Florence, and Royal Holloway, University of London, in the UK. Her summer spent as a directing apprentice at New York Stage and Film’s Powerhouse Theatre Program at Vassar College. She went on to complete her Master’s in directing at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow.
She has directed productions in Los Angeles, New York, Glasgow, London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Ireland, and Vancouver, Canada. She had a solo exhibition of her Skype Series paintings at Bergamot Station in Los Angeles in 2015. In 2016, Jessica co-founded a theatre company with her work and life partner, actor, Éanna O’Dowd called Untold Wants. They also have an acting studio out of UW where they teach.
